PennDOT Reduces Speed and Restricts Commercial Vehicles in Northeast PA

Dunmore, PA – PennDOT is temporarily reducing the speed limit to 45 mph and restricting commercial vehicles to the right lane only on interstates in District 4, including I-80 in Luzerne County, I-81 in Lackawanna, Luzerne, and Susquehanna counties, I-84 in Lackawanna, Wayne, and Pike counties, and I-380 in Lackawanna and Wayne counties.

Restrictions will be communicated via variable message boards and www.511PA.com. PennDOT crews are treating roadways with the primary goal of keeping roads passable. PennDOT recommends avoiding travel during winter storms when possible.
