PennDOT Announces New Pollinator License Plates

Harrisburg, PA – PennDOT announced that vehicle owners will now be able to purchase a 'Pollinator' license plate. Sixty-five percent of proceeds will be deposited into the Pollinator Habitat Program Fund, dedicated to supporting efforts to reinvigorate pollinator insect populations.

The Pollinator license plate is available for passenger cars or trucks with a registered gross weight of not more than 14,000 pounds. The plate features Pennsylvania's blue, white, and gold colors and depicts a monarch butterfly, honeybee, and green sweat bee visiting a flower. Applicants must submit Form MV-911.
